The pendant collar is a beautiful showcase for a powerful single element. This element may be a rare ethnographic piece, such as an Ethiopian cross, Moroccan fibula or Afghani medallion. Alternatively, Susan may create a unique pendant by stacking layers of stone and metal. The pendant collar is based on a circlet of fiber-wrapping, closed with Susan's own clasp, which comfortably encircles the neck. The Divided Pendant Collar (pictured below) secures the element to the circlet with a smaller segment of fiber-wrapping, for a very smooth fit. The regular Pendant Collar attaches the element to the wrapping by means of two strands specially-selected beads.
